I know of an American community, Warsaw, Indiana situated on U.S. 30 east of a town called Valparaiso and I think a bigger town, Fort Wayne, about 30-45 minutes still further east. Apparently the new Senator Baucus bill would steep huge taxes on the makers of medical devices such as stents, pace makers, orthopedic hips joints, knee joints, etc. etc. etc., 4 billion per year. At a time when us boomers are taking our hard earned gains, living longer, healthier and invigorated and looking forward to retirement, why do they want to place additonal burdens on the costs of devices that could not only save our lives in emergencies but give us greater quality of lives for more years into the future. It still comes down to "Who gave you the right, Mr. Obama (that is how I prefer to think of him, I am a visionary), over our lives, liberty and pursuit of happiness? God gave us these. Hands off!!! Damn it!!! I think Saturday afternoon, around 1-2PM would be a great time to ralley in support of the great midwestern, American town. September 26th sounds like a great date. Hey, I just came up with a cause and I will be there attired as the former Marine Vietnam veteran that I am. I cannot be alone on this.. I need WE THE PEOPLE, Tea Party people, 9/12ers, some of these to pick up on it and indeed help get the permits etc. I will learn to do more but for now, I drove myself to Washinton DC on the 12th and I sensed the heartbeat of America and I feel abit better about our chances, in this one nation under God, indivisible.
